-ICE- Philosophy
We are here because we choose to be. We are
a squad based on Honesty, Brotherhood, Respect and Fun. We are a diverse group
of members who better ourselves thru learning from one another and relying
on each others strength. We respect one another and treat one another the
way we would wish ourselves to be treated. You will get out of this squad
as much as you bring into it.
If you would like to help out with the squad - please approach any of the XO.'s. or CO. and let us know how you wish to help, and in which department.
We will gladly work with you in this endeavor as needed.
If you read the following and feel that there’s anything that you don’t like or agree with, please do not apply.
We’ve bent the rules before, and we paid the price.
Please note that we encourage other squads to take screenshots and report any ICE member whose behavior is either questionable or damaging to the
squad.
-ICE- Policies
I have read ICE Philosophy, I understand it and agree with it.
No member of ICE shall belong to another squad, be it in a game we play or one like it.
All new recruits must go thru:
Tryouts with TeamSpeak.
One month probation with recruit (ICEr-) tags.
Final vote in after probation period.
You should not be trying out for another squad during this time. If you are, you obviously do not care to belong to this one.
Minimum age: 18
You will wear your tags in all game servers, even if you are in battle tags. (ICE-Chilled or ICE-Ch).
The only exception to this is during a match or scrim, in which you do not need to add tag to battle tag.
No Cheating - Period. If we catch you cheating knowingly you will be handing in your tags, we do not condone or tolerate cheating here.
Cheating consists of:
Known or unknown glitches. If you feel someone is glitching, let us know and take a screen shot.
Outside Programs interfering with the game and its way of communications with the server.
Known and unknown cheat add ons which change the games physics or its designers intended original or updated structure.
You will treat all teammates and other players with respect. If you cannot do so we have a list of squads who deserve your attitude.
We will be glad to set you up a tryout with one of them.
When joining ICE, you must have and use the following: ICQ, TeamSpeak and a Headset (with microphone).You can find a headset for $19.95.
We use ICQ for file transfer and TeamSpeak for comms.

Teamspeak is voice communications software. We have it broken down into rooms. The lobby is for general chit-chat.
The other rooms are used for practices, matches and scrims. No chatting there, these are for serious gameplay only.
As a member of ICE, we will expect you to join the same side as your squad mates. That’s the reason we’re a squad, to play as one.
When one or two members play on the other side, it leaves us open to accusations of Co-opping, even if we don’t, you know it’s a possibility.
The following will not be allowed, no matter what the reason/excuse may be. Doing any of the following will result in a final warning.
Name calling in a game server or forum. When you become a member of -ICE-, the only thing we type in the game is things like 'GGA', 'n1', 'g1'.
Typing profanity like 'STFU' can and will result in a 1st and final warning. We don’t care if somebody calls your mother names, you will not
respond to anything like that in a server, because then you are just as bad as the person starting it. Also you tarnish the name of ICE.
Take a screenshot and we’ll take care of the rest of it.
Accusing another player of cheating/hacking in a game server or forum. If you want to file a complaint, do so the correct way.
Take a screenshot or Fraps. People cheat/hack and they always will, get over it.
Do NOT accuse, there’s nothing you can do about it, just report it (with proof) to -ICE- command and play on.
As our motto clearly states, "God Forgives, ICE Doesn't ". If you leave, you stay gone. You may reapply but there is no guarantee.
Also, any infractions to our policies or behavior problems are to be brought to the CO. or XO.'s. The following will be our disciplinary action:
Sit down member and accuser with CO. and XO.'s.
If found guilty, a warning will be issued.
No 2nd warning - if found guilty for a second time, you will simply be removing the ICE tags.
Any changes to these policies are the reserved rights of the CO. - who will do so at his discretion, as needed.
From time to time, we will vote on new policies. You will be given one week to vote on the issue and then we will
close the vote - so pay attention and check the forum on a regular basis. The CO. does reserve the power of VETO.
Remember, we are here to have fun and be the best. It takes all of us to do that, not just one person.
When you join ICE you become an integral part of the whole, so please conduct yourself as such.
Remember, by wearing the ICE tag, you represent the whole squad. Any negative action reflects poorly on us all.
